Double crossed is a novella taking place after Uncommon Criminals of the Heist Society series and Out of Sight, Out of Time of the Gallagher Girls series. As the son and daughter of prominent members of society, both Macey McHenry and W.W. Hale are attending The Calloway Ball in New York. Soon after meeting each other, a group of masked men burst into the ballroom with machine guns. Combining the skills of spies and thieves, the two must work together to stop the heist.
This book appeals to fans of both series and sets the stage for some amazing possible sequels. The book contains very few spoilers, making a great read even if you have only read one series. As of June 2016, the book is free on ITunes and accessible to almost everyone. I highly recommend reading this tale of spies and thieves.
