Today marks four years since I launched this blog. Four years ago, I could never had imagined that this blog would grow to this point. I could never have imagined that I would post over 200 books, nor that this small hidden site would amass thousands of views. Thank you to everyone who continued to explore this blog in my absence and to everyone who continues to enjoy my reviews. You guys motivate me to keep on writing.
As a small way of celebrating this sites 4th birthday, here is a list of some of the books I am looking forward to reading and reviewing this year.
It is important to mention that this list is not in any particular order. All of them a great books I look forward to reviewing before the end of the year. Once again, thank you for celebrating Reader's Hidden Paradise's 4th birthday. I look forward to many more birthdays to come :)
As a small way of celebrating this sites 4th birthday, here is a list of some of the books I am looking forward to reading and reviewing this year.
- V. E. Schwab: Vicious: I only recently read this book and its morally grey cast and interesting plot has made this book one of my favorites.
- Artemis by Andy Weir: Andy Weir's previous book The Martian was an amazing read and I can't wait to dive into this book
- Darkdawn by Jay Kristoff: Nevernight and Godsgrave were fantastic reads. I looking forward to the series finale
- The Toll by Neal Shusterman: Like Darkdawn, this book is also the final installment to a well written and riveting series.
- Well of Ascension by Brandon Sanderson: I read this book earlier this year, but didn't have time to review it, however, I plan on rereading the book so I can proclaim my adoration for Brandon Sanderson's books
- Shadow Study by Maria V. Snyder: This is another book I read earlier this year, but never got the chance to review. It is an exciting continuation to the Yelena story and a fantastic read.
- Wayward Son by Rainbow Rowell: A couple years ago, I read Carry On believing it was a standalone. I am thrilled that this book is getting a sequel and can't wait to see how Rainbow Rowell further explores classic hero stories.
- Children of Blood and Bone by Tomi Adeyemi: I have only heard good things about this book and I'm excited to verify these rumors myself.
- The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin: This is another book I have only heard good things about. As I have said before, I am excited to read it.
- The Three Body Problem by Cixin Liu: Not only has this book received positive reviews, a number of my nerdy friends have read and recommend this book. I'm looking forward to giving it a try.
It is important to mention that this list is not in any particular order. All of them a great books I look forward to reviewing before the end of the year. Once again, thank you for celebrating Reader's Hidden Paradise's 4th birthday. I look forward to many more birthdays to come :)
