Series Analysis
After reading all six of Richelle Mead's "Bloodlines" series and all six of the "Vampire Academy" series, I can definitively say that Richelle Mead is a great author. Her books are full of action, romance and humor. It is honestly a series and I recommend it to all. It is imperative that you read the Vampire Academy series before starting the Bloodlines series unless you want to be spoiled. This series averages at 4.5 stars on this sight and 4.34 stars on Goodreads. The series includes, Bloodlines, The Golden Lily, The Indigo Spell, The Fiery Heart, Silver Shadows, and The Ruby Circle.
For all those who have read the "Vampire Academy" series. At the end of The Last Sacrifice Adrian says, "There's been a lot of collateral damage along the way while you battled against the world. I was a victim, obviously. But what about Jill? What happens to her now that you've abandoned her to the royal wolves? And Eddie? Have you thought about him? And where's your Alchemist? (579 Mead)" The Bloodlines series is about all those characters who are yet to have happy endings. For any fan of the "Vampire Academy" series this is a must read.
